On the eve of Harry Potter 5.....

Many of the kids I've worked with have found resonance in the Harry Potter Books. I loved this story I read this morning.

I haven't preordered a copy this time, but I WILL read it for the sheer entertainment. I still believe in fairy tales and happy ever afters.

I haven't pre-ordered this time either, but the guy at the Stop & Shop told me that they open at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning and they have 400 copies waiting. I live in a small town so I'm sure I'll be able to get one if I arrive early enough. The local bookstore is having a party at midnight, as they do every time a new Harry Potter is released, for the kids...they dress in costume and have H.P. related beverages and snacks.
